I’ve been eating mostly raw now for 5 days, and have realized that I still need to satisfy my sweet tooth. My sister mentioned that I try making a raw sorbet – apparently it’s all the rage on Pinterest right now.
So off to the Farmers Market I went to gather my ingredients. Luckily, I got the last of the season’s strawberries, and the beginning of the season’s blueberries and blackberries. I decided that mint would be a good accompaniment and grabbed some of that as well. I already had local honey, so I just needed to pick up a lime and some coconut water from the store.
This recipe is quite possibly the easiest sorbet recipe out there. You could switch up the fruits and herbs – think pear and ginger, watermelon and basil, or raspberry and rosemary. This recipe would also make great popsicles. Instead of putting in a big container, pour into popsicle molds.
